ALL TEAMS ARE ASKED TO REPORT TO THE FIELDS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED THROUGH A POSTING ON THE WEB SITE, EITHER ON THIS TOURNAMENT INFORMATION PAGE OR THE SCHEDULE PAGE FOR YOUR DIVISION.
ALL SHOWCASE PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED TO REPORT TO THE SHOWCASE FIELD UNLESS INFORMATION IS POSTED HERE REGARDING CANCELATION.
FIELD WORKERS WILL DO THEIR BEST TO GET AS MANY GAMES IN AS POSSIBLE ON THURSDAY AND THE WEATHER FORCAST FOR THE REST OF THE TOURNAMENT LOOKS GREAT.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CALL OR EMAIL REGARDING WHETHER YOUR GAME IS RAINED OUT. GAME INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED AS IT COMES IN TO THE TOURNAMENT STAFF.

IF FOR SOME REASON YOUR TEAM STILL HAS MISSING PAPERWORK THEY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PLAY AND THE GAME WILL BE SCORED A FORFEIT.

FOR THOSE ADDING PLAYERS TO THE ROSTER:
ALL NEWLY ROSTERED PLAYERS MUST COMPLETE A WAIVER RELEASE FORM FOUND ON THE "REQUIRED FORMS" PAGE. RETURN SIGNED FORM TO PATTERSON PARK BEFORE YOUR GAME #1.
Please review all information posted on your respective schedule page. All tournament format, playoff and Championship game schedule information is now posted.
Coaches are asked to please keep games moving as quickly as possible, see to it that foul balls are collected, etc., as all fields are in maximum use during the entire tournament. Please clear out dugout for next game immediately following last out of game. If need for a team meeting please take it outside the field so the next game can begin promptly.
With possible weather issues forcasted for the July 4th weekend, please note the following:
- The Boys of Summer organization will do their best to complete the tournament, with all teams playing as many scheduled pool play games as possible.
- With all fields scheduled for maximum usage there is no opportunity to "push back" games. If a game is rained out or delayed it will most likely not be made up.
- Keep in mind that if the tournament format needs to be shortened, those teams with best record, least runs allowed, and most runs scored will be seeded appropriately to best complete the tournament.
- Coaches will need to check the information page and their age group's schedule page frequently for updates regarding any format changes. All teams are expected to follow the original schedule and game format unless otherwise instructed.
- We expect patience and cooperation from all coaches should the game schedule or tournament format need to be changed if inclement weather hits.
- The Boys of Summer will do what is best for a successful completion of the event and for all 150 participating teams.
If your team is the one with the room reservations at the Hilton in Beachwood, it is suggested that you reselect from one of the host locations listed under the lodging area and do so as soon as possible. Your families will not understand the dismissal of the team from the tournament for not following the posted rules, the same rules that were signed and agreed to be followed by the head coach upon entering the tournament.
The tournament director will not hesitate to remove any team attempting to not follow the requirement to use only host hotel properties, with no refund given.
